West Wycombe

My first trip (in over 40 years, anyway) to West Wycombe. Attractive village now managed by the National Trust. This is the Dashwood Mausoleum on top of the hill as the sun went down. You can see it in full in the extras, with St. Laurence Church topped by a golden ball behind. Church Lane, the route up to the hill, is also amazingly pictureseque. 

The mauseleum, church, West Wycombe Park country house and the Hellfire Caves were all built by bon viveur, Sir Francis Dashwood.
