History

Another Sunday stroll. 11.5km mostly alongside fields & through an old sandstone quarry.
The quarry started in the 16th century, but a lot of the random holes are from when it was used for home guard weapons training in WW2.
Nowadays it’s mainly just visited by rabbits and talc shedding climbers. Hence the white powder.
The most extreme I got was shovelling down the fantastic veggie full English breakfast in a pub close enough to waddle the last mile home.
