Another canal sunrise!

Quite a cool day again but a whole lot less breezy than last night. 
Walking along the tow path I noticed that the water level was very high which shouldn’t happen on a canal. On reaching lock 18, I found out the problem. A barrier of weed and broken branches almost a foot high (30 centimetres) was damming the top of the lock gate!
I later saw a Scottish Canals van heading down that way so the problem should soon be solved.
