From the beginning

A bottle of Buckie

We were out and about in Auckland with daughter D today and happened to find the English Corner Shop in Onehunga. The shop was pretty impressive and the selection as good as Piccadilly Circus in Kaiapoi which is our favorite. When we were walking round the store we came across this.....I haven't seen it for over 9 years.
If you are from North Lanarkshire and haven't tasted this then the chances are you are a relatively decent member of society, if it is your weekend/nightly tipple you are/were probably a Weegie/ Chav/ Wee bawbag or just a plain little sh*t.
This drink is one (just a little one) of the reasons we decided that we had enough of Scotland and it was time to move on.
Taking the kids to school through loads of broken green glass or not being able to let them play in the play parks because its littered in the stuff or the little scum are already there drinking it is good enough reason to move on. The other main reason is you don't want to see them grow up to turn into one of these people.

Just as a footnote here is the Wiki page for this drink made by Benedictine monks and causing chaos throughout Scotland and Ireland....PPS i really don't care that you make it and make loads of money and cause misery through it but at least make it in plastic bottles.
PPPS. ye i probably do

rant over.
