Got myself into a pickle...

And got out again.  A friend of mine got this in two goes.  Obviously got lucky (as we all do sometimes).  I found myself, with two moves to go, with a guess at FIGHT, LIGHT, MIGHT or BIGHT so decided to look for the strategic way out - and I found it!
