A mackerel sky at dusk

The stormy conditions had brought unusual cloud formations all day. When Helena came home she mentioned there was a mackerel sky as dusk approached,. Once I'd seen it I thought it was worth recording.

A little while later it changed again as the sun set. I've added a picture of the crimson effect looking towards the sourth-west, as an 'Extra'.
