The box housing the 8 baby tortoises contains a broken terracotta half plant-pot for them to hide under. This morning when I switched on their basking lamp and put some food in, I was surprised that they didn’t rush out to start chomping. Then I realised that they have grown so much that they were jammed in there. Looks like we need a bigger boat, er pot.
