Old Buildings IV

A boat slowly moves under the The Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence, Italy. Crossing the Arno River and built in 1345, the bridge is home to several shops none of which are butcher shops, banned since the 15th century to curb their proliferation. Note that the boat is propelled by a standing oarsman not unlike the gondoliers in Venice.
