DAY 4 MEMORIES AND MOVING ON

We were up, breakfasted and packed in less than an hour!!! And on the road by 10….we left Oxfordshire…briefly touched Northamptonshire, through Warwickshire and onto Shropshire.
On route we went via #Lilleshall ..,.the village full of childhood memories as my Nan lived here. # It took me a while to get orientated but then we found the cottage…it looked less cottagey than it used to. We chatted to a few locals about the village. Lots of infill happening:(
#then we climbed the Monument hill…which strangely seems to have shrunk!!! We kept Daisy on a lead as she is still limping a bit.
#it was very windy :))) but it was such a sunny day we could see for miles.
As we drove on we struggled to find a decent dog friendly pub for lunch.
#Eventually finding one in Market Drayton…we were starving as it was 3 o’clock and we only had a piece of toast!!!
We arrived at Marchamley…to our cottage number 2…..it’s absolutely lush!!! Daisy didn’t take long to settle by the log fire whilst we had an evening in the hot tub with some bubbly.
