Chirpy Robin

A lovely walk around Moors Valley and good catch up with a Camera Club friend this morning. Not great for photography though, as it was so dull. It didn't worry us too much :)

After we'd said our goodbyes, I went to Blashford Lakes in the hope there would be some interesting birdlife. There was! I saw goldeneye, a bullfinch, a kingfisher, a very shy bittern and - best of all - a distant view of a white-tailed sea eagle!!! I was super-excited! I only have barely visible record shots of most of the sightings, so this very cheerful robin has made it as my blip :)

Thanks very much for everything for recent blips - you have been very generous!
