Sundial, Crocus, Campus

I took MrQ to a dental appointment in Old Harlow this afternoon. Once I'd dropped him off safely in the clinic Ollie dog and I went for a walk. I saw my first crocus of the season, not in a garden but in a small area of woodland all on its own. The sundial on the Dial House was working very well in the bright sunshine.

Some pigeons on the roof of a maltings building caught my eye. I was very surprised to discover that the maltings have been converted into accommodation for students at the Harlow Campus of the Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador, one of only two universities in Canada with a foothold in the United Kingdom.
