Blackbird breakfast

It’s been another beautiful sunny day here, the sun is surprisingly warm, which is both fantastic and alarming. Lots of garden plants are waking up, along with a few bees and peacocks, but the star at the moment is good old ivy, with its different colours, dark glossy leaves and calorie-stuffed berries.
There’s a huge patch on my neighbour’s workshop roof that is being stripped of berries by four chubby pigeons, they surely can’t eat much more without bursting.
