Ruby knows that the curled up black cat, on top of the large floor tile, represents Charlie. My goodness, didn't she ever love Charlie. She goes to the grave and talks to Charlie, strokes the cat on the top, and is quite happy knowing that Charlie is just sleeping underneath there.
You may not be able to make it out but there is a metal silhouette of a long haired Chihuahua on the rear edge of the tile. Yes, Foxy is in there too. Fitting really, there was a healthy respect between Foxy and Charlie, not a liking, just respect!
