Flying-leap

By flying

The trotter....

....against an endless morning sky, we shared what beach there was as the king tide turned.

E decided to walk in the waves while I trudged along in the softer sand, it was indeed a full on work out for me. I was intrigued by the drifts of sand forming small dunes from the current of the sea right along the beach, lots of driftwood and clumps of seaweed, no shells today just a few gulls feeding young ones and a couple of oyster catchers sending out the call we were approaching.

The sky a nor'wester bringing a warm light breeze on ground but looking up there was probably strong air, not ideal flying conditions.

It's wide angle Wednesday, the theme is nature. It's probably debatable if this fits the theme with the inclusion of the trotter but the sky and surrounding environment is certainly nature....wonder what your thoughts are? Thanks to BobsBlips for hosting this month.

It's been a warm humid day with a few heavy drops of rain, no sun, 28C at 4.30pm, we might be in for a warm night.

Happy Wednesday everyone :)
