BRUNEL BUOY

This 19th century marine mooring buoy was used in the dock at Bo'ness. It was recovered from there in 2015, has been restored and is now one of the foreshore installations, helping to tell the maritime history of Bo'ness. The two tonne buoy is thought to have been designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and dates from between the 1820s and 1850s.
