Just for the record...

Progress in the garden has been a bit slower than expected for a couple of reasons; the garden man had to have some unexpected tests on his heart following an illness last year, which involved a week in hospital and recuperation, and it took him much longer to dig out the existing paths put in by the builders which, he said, had foundations more akin to a driveway than a simple garden path.  But progress is being made; he's now completed three of the five small paved areas with two being seen in the top picture, and the fourth will be done tomorrow.  He's also delivered two mature trees to site along with the wood required for some trellis, and is still on track to complete the job by the end of February.  Lots of stone cutting going on at the moment, so not a time to be cleaning the outside windows.
