Almost but not quite

The slipper orchid is almost out but perhaps another week to go. It is very slow in opening
Popped to the kitchen this morning to give Maureen her gift and say goodbye. She loved them as we all thought she would. It was not a happy place to be today. Very busy too crowded and not enough ventilation in my opinion. Also the person who was brought in to cover us managed to upset a volunteer who said she won’t be back until made.if and I are, you just cannot come into a new situation and upset people the way it was done. Took in a huge parcel for a neighbour which was ordered last April. Probably stuck in the Suez Canal malarkey .
