Nature stepped into the gallery

Today I was taking photos on new exhibitions of Galleria Pihatto. On February there are abstract paintings of Päivi Kukkasniemi and  international nature project based photo and video exhibition of Finnish Association for Nature Conservation. Lady on the right is the coordinator of the project.

Nature based exhibition presents activities of the Lake Ladoga to Lake Saimaa project for the benefit of nature. The project will restore beaches and waterways back to their natural state. In addition, the sustainable recreational use of beaches in the Käkisalmi area in Russia and in the Hiitolanjoki watershed in Finland is being developed.

Part of the exhibition is big video artwork Tummuneva made by Teemu Lehmusruusu (guy in the image) and his team. That video is freely availabe here. Its worth to watch. Unfortunately texts and telling are in Finnish, but you can watch video with ambient music in the background, just click the angel like icon on the right side to switch music on/off.

In the video, you can dig yourself deeper to the ground by clicking anywhere in the screen. Video describes how carbon dioxide runs through the nature on our planet.
