Is it early to be house nest building, I don't know, but for several days I've seen this Magpie collecting twigs from the Wisteria from that's entwined in my conifer hedge.    I've not had my camera to hand when I've seen him before but this morning managed to grab just a couple of shots through the bedroom window just as he was flying up onto the roof (it's the roof tiles that are out of focus in the bottom of the picture) and then on into an enormous conifer in my neighbours garden.
Looks like he's thinking the bigger the twigs the faster my house will be built.
