Patrol

Spent a morning litter-picking along the WoL, while colleagues in the wee boat were installing a new boom at the swan's nest, that will hopefully trap the rubbish. Then it can be removed without disturbing them, which can't be done from the nest itself. And someone from the F.O.W.L.b group (see FB) was able to remove the old egg that has been lying there for two years, to prevent the swans getting confused again......

Later we saw them out patrolling the river, inspecting the work no doubt.
