Strammer Max

I haven’t enjoyed a strammer max since the late 1970s when I was stationed with the British Civil Service in West Germany. Mrs S made me one for lunch today. There are many variations on this theme but today’s was local ham from the village butcher and free range egg on home made toasted bread. There are plenty of recipes online, you can add cheese if you wish.  Makes a nice meal for brunch.
