The Lozarithm Lens

Gardening Wednesday (2nd February 2022)

We were favoured with a mild dry day for the first Woodland Gardening session of the year and it was the first time I had seen Refna since Christmas. She had been back at work at the school over the road this week following recent bouts of illness from which she is now hopefully recovered. There were hundreds of bulbs that I had bought mail-order in the end-of-year sales to dig in and by the end of the session they were all in the ground.
Some hellebores were put in about a year ago and were beginning to surface for the first time, as shown here. I had earmarked the Extra as my prospective blip, but online the one I finally chose had proven to be the most popular.
