Art Gallery

It is a bright sunny day, but the wind is ferociously cold. It was good to get into the Art Gallery and shelter from the cold wind for a while.

A visit to the cafe was a priority. But it is always worth having a wander around the gallery to see what is new.

In the atrium there is an exhibition of sculptures by Kenny Hunter. He is a sculptor baed in Edinburgh, but some of his works can be seen all over Scotland especially, but also elsewhere in Britain, and in Continental Europe. Looking at the list of his public works I was able to recognise having seen some of them.

These particular works in this temporary exhibition in the art Gallery are not particularly to my taste. However I could not avoid taking a photo through this circle looking towards the girl on horseback. I rather assume the green circle is positioned exactly for that purpose.
