Westerwood

It was a windy walk for us up at Westerwood on Tuesday, but on the plus side at least it stayed dry.

From Cumbernauld Village, our route took us up past the airport and along part of the Antonine Wall before joining the path network around the Westerwood Golf Course. We had only limited shelter from the westerly wind and it was not surprising to see the course fairly deserted apart from some madcap Ramblers.
