The beach is constantly changing with the effect of tides and winds.  The wind was not as strong as it has been recently but there was still evidence of changes from a walk two weeks ago.  Sand had blown across the path leading to the beach so we had to make a slight detour while the path across the high dune was almost completely blocked at its lower edge.  The wave cut dunes now had sand raising the beach while sand was blowing down sometimes looking like smoke.  (The second extra shows the same section two years ago after a heavy frost)  Fortunately there appeared to be no real litter or plastic although a fishing boat’s buoy had been washed up and there were several large tree trunks which could cause damage in the sea to small boats.
