Film reels

Today was my first day in the darkroom, our photography class works there in small groups. I developed films with Kati and Tarja, none of us had worked in the darkroom before. 

It was exciting to load films onto reels and place them to film tanks in complete darkness! Then we developed film negatives in the tank and 
stabilised them with fixer. Finally we rinsed and soaked films with water, which is happening in the picture. Films were taken off the reel and hanged them to dry overnight. We continue tomorrow!

The 2022 Olympics was kicked off with the Opening Ceremony today.
