Amelia Earhart

For our History topic at the moment we are learning about the history of flight this week's lesson was about Amelia Earhart we watched a short video about her life and then the children had to write a few sentences about what they had learnt my little crew ( they are the lower ability) had some words to sort and then copy around the picture this of course didn't take them long so I asked them to draw me a picture about Amelia. One of the little girls had obviously been listening well as her picture was very detailed when I asked her to tell me about the second plane with the person falling from it she explained that was Amelia when she disappeared she said "She's going" and pulled a surprised face.
