Ship of Naval Cadet Corps Harlingen...

The HR. ms. Sittard was transferred by the Royal Netherlands Navy to the Zeekadetkorps Harlingen association in 1997 and the ship has since served as a sailing home base and training ship for the corps. This maritime youth association is part of the national Zeekadetkorps Nederland. The Sea Cadet Corps aims to show young people the way to sea in a pleasant way.
