A Bit of a Do!

Just a little bit though. All the family round to ours for tonight’s tea. Lasagne and/or pizza plus sides for all. It was kind of by way of a belated birthday celebration for all in the family who have had recent birthdays.
Everyone enjoyed themselves; the grown-ups had a good blether and the young ones played well together.
What a miserable day though on the weather front! 40+ mph winds and 45 degree rain equals the epitome of dreich.
On the other hand, the Calcutta Cup was a real nail-biter and I did fear Scotland were about to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory but a final result of 20- 17 for the Scots was worth a big sigh of relief.
