The Aftermath

Much cooler here today and even started raining late afternoon which was heavenly!! 

Some of my plants on the rooftop garden have taken a hit from the heat even though I thoroughly watered them early yesterday morning.  The plants that can take anything are the succulents and this one in the main seems to have grown a bit faster through the heat if that is possible!!

Couldn't get the camera on my iPad to work and after fiddling and cursing and resetting and researching it suddenly worked with a strange filter, I was shocked - a bit - but then liked it a bit too, pretty weird - in extras!! : )

Salmon and salad for dinner and have had a very minimal eating day which actually feels good. Have done a lot of research today and have some good ideas about our diet!!
