Warwick

We met Maureen and Ian at Hill Close Gardens in Warwick this afternoon.  The trust was running a Snowdrop Weekend and they had snowdrops in flower all over the gardens, 130 varieties on show apparently.

The weather forecast had been dry and windy, though we did have a bit of a downpour whilst we were walking around.  Being February there were not a lot of other flowers in bloom, but I did spot some small bunches of iris just above ground level, one of which is my main picture. I've added one of my snowdrop pictures to the extras.

We finished the walkabout at the cafe, of course, and had a refreshing cuppa before leaving for home.
