Injured Badger

All the family came to my brother and sister-in-law's today for a couple of days' break. Tried to come NOT on motorways, and had a picnic in the car overlooking a quintessential English rural scene in Warwickshire somewhere.

As soon as we got here, went for THE walk over and then under the M1. Suddenly the dog was chasing what we thought was a cat, but turned out to be a badger. The poor thing was obviously injured. Very difficult to know what we could do for it... Nevertheless, such a privilege to see a live badger at close quarters like that.
