This Week’s Assignment

I finished the fourth drawing this morning and sent this off to my teacher Trish so she could set up for Tuesday’s class. We start with a realistic drawing and then get more and more abstract with influence from the work of a well known artist. This series is influenced by Emily Carr. If you aren’t familiar with her, check her out. She was a Canadian artist who lived and worked in Victoria, Vancouver and the woods of British Columbia. I love her work. The extra is the photo Trish gave us as our starting point.
