Landing gear engaged

A quick honk and then the noisiest of splashes as the Canada Geese came in to land on the Heritage Park Loch. As usual I wasn’t prepared for flock to fly in so I only managed to catch a photo of the final few to hit the water.

The improvement in the weather is only minimal ……breezy all day but no rain until the early afternoon. At 4.50 the sky is blue and peppered with a few fluffy clouds. It is still rather chilly and up at the loch there were some rather extensive areas of black ice. I had one or two nasty slips but I managed to keep myself upright and finished my walk on the rather muddy grass
