Mermaids, Dwarves and fairies

We have a huge attic space in our house which I think was supposed to be another floor when it was first built. It has a round window in the gable which lets in light. In the 40 years since we moved into this house our children and grandchildren have grown. So many treasures have been stored away over the years.
Today we were trying to find a microscope which we thought was up there but sadly couldn’t find it.
We did find this wonderful box of play people and animals which have been lost up there since miss T was little.
Inside were all the mini dwarves, fairies and mer people, together with many playmobil sea creatures. They have all been collected from Malta where there is a playmobil park and Europe. They are all quite unusual and did not go on general sale.
The children were so delighted to find them after school and have played with them all evening. We have many boxes of Playmobil in the attic. Some which belonged to their Dad many moons ago. I think we will be bringing more out at half term.
