Winter Service?

Still snow on the Welsh hills, even here just a few miles from the sea. We have been here at Easter on and off for over twenty years but always it has been Springtime .... until this year. The hills are bleached brown, barely a hint of the fresh green that usually characterises this time of year. (Take a look at one year ago.) It's very dry too, exacerbated by the continuing wind. Not an easy year for the hill farmers.

Not a great start to the season for the Talyllyn either although the barren landscape looks beautiful nonetheless. The clear air and blue skies hint of better times to come. In the meantime why not pay us a visit?!
