Dunmore Pineapple.

This morning we visited the Pineapple for the first time in a couple of years.
The worst aspect is the road in which really needs serious attention but the results are worth it. The snowdrops are now in full bloom but the fruit trees have still a few weeks before the blossom comes.
The Pineapple itself dates from the 18th century and can now be rented as a rather quirky holiday let. Back in the day there were hothouses along the south-facing north wall which were heated by coal. Well seeing the owners could afford the bills!
At least it has been a much drier day but still cool in the breeze.
