Battleground lake.

This morning the fog was thick (I don't remember a year with this much fog) so I went back out to Battleground Lake.  I still wasn't crazy about most the shots I took, until the fog started to lift and a little sun was shinning through.  I read a sign that explained that the lake was formed by massive underground steam explosions that occurred when volcanic magma encountered groundwater.  The resulting crater formed the lake basin.
