Boots no longer intended for walking in!

This pair of walking boots have been suspended by their laces from a branch over the river for as long as I can remember. They have taken on a completely new Boots fit for a new purpose life form, covered in moss and algae with ivy starting to grow out in places. So annoying when the laces in my walking boots last just a couple of years or so, having been looked after!
