Corn Exchange

Yorkshirebred and I had many corny words on a Bus Pass Walk reccy - had previously walked a route along the Leeds Liverpool Canal from Kirkstall to Leeds - some of of our members now find this route to long - thought it would be easy peasy to walk the route backwards - getting off the bus before the bridge over the canal on the Leeds Liverpool Canal - on the approach to Leeds City Centre - to shorten the route - wrong -the buses now follow a new bus - taxi and cycling loop through the city centre - with no easy access to the canal - when we eventually found the tow path - saw Yorkshirebred’s grandson F doing field work for his A level geography course - looked at his maps - no help - but was good to see and talk to him - refreshment taken in The Corn Exchange in Leeds - blip there from- got back in time to partake of teatime drinks with friends
