Rockery

Busy day today , my lovely neighbour and I decided to crack on with a planned rockery in the garden of my new house / this was stage 2 of turning the blank canvas consisting of a grass slope. In the autumn we had created sone beds with railway sleepers and a mini pond to encourage the wildlife.

The local quarry was a great source for some big granite rock’s- nearly killed us but my neighbour was determined we needed some big rocks- she was correct as she always is on gardening matters! my back feeling slightly worse for wear tonight !!

We were both very pleased with our efforts, just need it to start growing now and for milo to not trample on it all:)
