Time for soup

My lovely youngest son, a talented professional chef and baker, gave me his recipe for spicy roasted parsnip and carrot soup, topped with kefir and smoked paprika. So I made it tonight and bloomin’ heck it’s good!

So all Covid precautions are being ditched in a couple of weeks. We’re totally on our own now, it’s insanity. I’m hoping Sadiq will get Cressida Dick to ‘move on’ urgently…
Mind you that might allow Sajid Javid’s brother (Met deputy asst commissioner) to step up into her job. What a mess.
