DAY 13 - VISITING AND RETREATING

# great visit to see my great niece and niece/goddaughter. So proud of how hard she works. Managed to get a 2:1 degree despite being weeks off giving birth. Now works 6 days a week in a restaurant whilst her partner works full time and is finishing his degree!!! Spent a lovely couple of hours.
#then made it to our final stay….a lodge on a small park.
#its absolutely beautiful inside. Really well equipped and sooooo clean.
#and a hot tub.
All going well till I spotted a deer in the woods. Thought we’d better check Daisy!!! Somehow she’d got out and through 2 fences and in fact the deer was DAISY…she had got herself stuck and we had no way of getting her. PANIC!!!….luckily the continuous calling and treat bag rattling brought her back!! She hasn’t left our side since. Think it really scared her.
Now ready for a glass or 2 of wine and some TV catch up.
