Mallard Duck

My weekly 52frames photo challenge prompt is depth of field. I decided to try for an image of this Mallard duck (Anas platyrhynchos) with a shallow depth of field where only the duck is in focus. I managed to capture the bird in profile against the snow covered ground behind him with the widest aperture available to me. The result is this image with a plain white, and out of focus background.
