Bird Watching

I hadn't got a blip till about 4:00pm this afternoon so thought I'd see what the birds were up to.  This little chaffinch came to my rescue, with its pink breast feathers looking lovely in the last rays of the sun. 

I had a little helper with me today (see first extra) who rather put the birds off I think, even though she stayed pretty still!  In my second extra is a bird that I've not seen before.  It's high up in the branches and so the image is not very clear but hopefully one of you knowledgeable blippers will be able to enlighten me.  I thought it was one of the many goldfinches which were in the tree until I downloaded my photos.
