Verb
1. Cause the water or other liquid in (something) to run out, leaving it empty, dry, or drier.
2. Cause or allow (liquid) to run off or out of something.
3. To deplete gradually, especially to the point of complete exhaustion.
4. To fatigue or spend emotionally or physically: The day's events completely drained me of all strength.

We have both here; the drain (or gutter) where water runs along, and me drained by the day's events.

Good drained (I think, I hope) but nonetheless drained.

And my hands are complaining about the cold. It's barely mid-autumn. I've caught up on photo processing tonight. Just Easter's photos to catch up on now.
