Alfreds birthday.

20 years ago my second boy was born this month, Alf, 2, pictured here, having a deep moment to himself, me and the then wife were in fits of laughter at his beautiful reactions to a sparrow on a tree outside, Alf was totally oblivious and amused by the bird that he never even noticed our suppressed chuckles and the clacking sounds coming from the camera. 3 frames and i was done.

As ever i had a camera to hand!

The extra photo is of him being brought into the world by C-section , left hand holding onto the then wife's hand and in the right hand a Nikon F5 with an SB26 flash gun mounted. fuji film was used. (of course)
