UP ON THE ROOF

(Yesterday is back-blipped.)

We went to an Escape Room in Norwich today, the first time for all but two of us, and though we failed to escape in time we had lots of fun trying. We were definitely not the optimal age group for it (being from 60 to 70), but probably gave the staff lots of laughs as they listened in and watched the six of us on the CCTV trying to cope with augmented reality puzzles on the iPad, swearing at combination locks that were a bit too fiddly for our fingers and complaining that the lighting was too dim for us to see properly. The extra is the photo the company took of us all (five sisters plus R's husband Mike). They kindly said they thought we'd have completed it all given another 15 minutes, but we weren't so sure.

Anyway the main blip is nothing to do with that, but a gull up on the screened glass roof of the library which caught my eye from below because of the shadow the low afternoon sun was casting, while I was waiting for a couple of the others to find some leaflets on historic walks.  I've magically deleted lots of bird droppings with Photoshop. If only I could do the same for the skylight at home.

Lot of serious discussions about Mum and her accelerating dementia this evening.
