Wow!

This tree has to be seen to be believed.  I blipped the seed pods here, and they were quite impressive, but now the two trees are in blossom, with each flower being at least two inches long.

Since my previous blip I've managed to discover that the trees are Paulownia tomentosa but they are also known by their common names of Foxglove, Empress or Princess trees.

The strange thing is that they are planted at the end of rows of olives, but we can't imagine why.
