Phil

This pheasant considers our caravan lodge and surrounding vegetation as his patch. We have called him Phil. He was perched on a rock near the steps leading up to the decking when we got back from our walk this morning. We had been on an interesting walk, arranged by the Cumbria Wildlife Trust, around part of Foulshaw Moss Nature Reserve that isn’t normally accessible. It took some time to warm up but coffee and some chocolate biscuits helped !
